I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Majestic Saigon, particularly the beautiful and historic ambiance of the Colonial Majestic Suite. However, the noise from traffic outside was quite disruptive during the night. and the dining experiences didn't quite meet my expectations. Overall, it was a lovely location with excellent staff,. but the service and facilities had a few shortcomings.

Rooms
6.0
The Colonial Majestic Suite was stunning, with a charming and historical decor, though the traffic noise was quite bothersome. and the windows fell short of modern luxury standards.
Service
6.0
Service was generally excellent; staff were polite, friendly, and accommodating. However, there were issues with dining, particularly when they charged us for additional meals despite prior notifications of dietary needs.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location is perfect, right in the heart of District 1 overlooking the Saigon River. making it easy to walk to many attractions and enjoy the city.
Dining
6.0
Dining experiences were mixed; while breakfast was fantastic with a variety of choices, other meals fell short. especially the cocktails, which all tasted similar and weren't worth the price.
Facilities
6.0
Facilities like room service and laundry were up to par, but there were some inconsistencies in the amenities offered compared to what is typical of luxury hotels.

7.2/10

I had a lovely stay at Hotel Majestic Saigon, marked by its history and charm, though some aspects of service felt a bit lacking. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, especially the river view ones, and the breakfast on the rooftop was a treat. However, I did encounter some issues with staff interactions, which could definitely use improvement.

Rooms
8.0
My room was spacious and comfortable with great storage options, though the shower over the bath wasn’t ideal. It had some lovely little balconies as well.
Service
6.0
While some staff were nice and accommodating, there was a noticeable lack of warmth from several others. The service at breakfast was hit-or-miss, with a few staff seeming disinterested.
Location
10.0
The location is fantastic; I could walk to many restaurants and attractions without much hassle. I barely needed a cab during my stay, which was super convenient.
Dining
8.0
Breakfast had a great selection and views over the river, which I loved. The rooftop bar was awesome too, with stunning views and better service than the breakfast area.
Facilities
8.0
Facilities like room service and dry cleaning were good, plus having a welcome drink was a nice touch.

5.2/10

My stay at Hotel Majestic Saigon was quite a mixed bag. The history and charm of the place really appealed to me, especially its connections to Graham Greene. However, the room I stayed in could definitely use some updates, and breakfast was hit or miss. Overall, while the location and ambiance were appealing, service and food quality left something to be desired.

Rooms
6.0
I initially booked a basic deluxe room, but was disappointed by its poor natural light and a view of corrugated iron rooftops. The bed was comfy, but the atmosphere felt a bit dreary. I really recommend upgrading to a room overlooking the pool or river for better vibes.
Service
7.0
The staff were generally friendly, but my check-in experience lacked warmth and personalization. I did appreciate the patience of the team with my busy schedule, though some interactions felt a bit impersonal or mechanical.
Location
9.0
I loved the location—it’s right in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, making it super easy to walk to historical sights and restaurants. The rooftop bar offered fantastic views of the river, which was a huge plus!
Dining
6.0
The breakfast options were unfortunately a letdown, with cold food and not enough fresh choices, especially for a place in Vietnam. The rooftop bar was a highlight, though, and had better quality cocktails and a great atmosphere.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel featured a small but deep pool and offered various services like room service and tours. It’s clear they aim to provide a full experience, though some facilities, like the breakfast area, could definitely be improved.

7.0/10

I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Majestic Saigon, largely due to its fantastic location by the Saigon River, which allowed for easy access to nearby attractions and restaurants. The charm of the hotel’s colonial architecture added to my experience, although some of the facilities could use an upgrade. Breakfast was varied, with good options but some missed opportunities for vegetarians. Overall, my stay was enjoyable, marked by helpful service and a vibrant atmosphere.

Rooms
7.0
My colonial suite offered good space, but lacked a view, which was disappointing. The amenities were satisfactory, but I felt the ambiance could use some refreshing.
Service
6.0
While some staff were gracious and knowledgeable, others had limited English skills, which made for a few awkward interactions. However, I appreciated the staff's attempts to provide helpful service.
Location
10.0
The hotel's location is absolutely perfect for exploring, right by the Saigon River and walking distance to major attractions. It made navigating through the city a breeze.
Dining
8.0
The breakfast had a wide selection catering to various tastes, although I wished for more vegetarian options. Dining on the rooftop with views of the river was a highlight, even if it could be warm at times.
Facilities
6.0
I didn't get to use the pool and found the gym a bit cramped and hot. Still, the overall facilities provided essential services like room service and laundry, making my stay more convenient.

5.4/10

My stay at Hotel Majestic Saigon had its ups and downs. The hotel boasts beautiful character and location, right by the river in District 1. However, the rooms felt a bit dated, with some maintenance issues. Service was okay, but not as warm as I'd hoped, especially compared to the general friendliness of Vietnamese culture. Lastly, the high prices for drinks and food gave me pause.

Rooms
6.0
The room I had was charming but needed some love. It had a musty smell and felt a bit tired overall. Plus, the lighting wasn't great, and it lacked some essentials like extra furniture and towel hooks.
Service
6.0
The staff were generally helpful, but the service didn’t leave a lasting impression. Communication about room service and requests for towels felt a bit lacking.
Location
8.0
Location was a major highlight; being near the river and close to the main attractions made it easy to explore Ho Chi Minh City. However, be prepared for some heavy traffic.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast was solid, with both Asian and Western options, but the dining experiences I had at the rooftop bar didn't meet expectations for a luxury hotel. The prices also felt steep compared to local food options around.
Facilities
6.0
I enjoyed the rooftop bar with its great views, but access issues and the small pool put a damper on the experience. Also, the WiFi was unsecured, which isn’t ideal.
